Ann King is a new resident of Boston. After earning her master's degree at Rutgers University in 1998, she worked most recently as an adjunct professor teaching writing classes at the university's New Brunswick and Newark campuses. She also taught short story and poetry classes at two community colleges in New Jersey. She has had a short story published in The North American Review, and is currently working on a novel. Ann is a native of Pittsburgh, and did her undergraduate work at Ohio University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism.

Her short story "Plumbing Problems" appeared in the November 2010 issue of The Drum.
