Joanne Barker is a freelance health writer who often writes about teen drug use and other parenting issues for WebMD. She is a part-time editor for the analyst firm, Chilmark Research, and writes about health information technology when the opportunity arises. She lives in Somerville, MA with her husband and two cats.

Her flash fiction piece, “How to be Naked” appears in the December 2012 issue of The Drum. The Drum recorded the piece at our Flash Fiction Open Mic at the 2012 Boston Book Festival.
