LESLIE PIETRZYK

Leslie Pietrzyk is the author of two novels, Pears on a Willow Tree (Avon) and A Year and a Day (William Morrow). Her short fiction has appeared in many journals, including Gettysburg Review, The Sun, Shenandoah, and The Iowa Review.  She blogs regularly at Work in Progress and teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Converse College and in the graduate writing program at Johns Hopkins.  She has performed live story-telling as a member of Washington, DC’s Story League.

Her novel excerpt Lady of the House appears in the December 2011 issue of The Drum.
